Wow, that's all I can say about this video. A very confusing story line but here's a decent explanation of what's happening:

"Basically The Weeknd & His girl was King & Queen of a single planet but she cheated. He caught her and killed her followers. He then puts them in this container for the Queen to see. She gets mad and they break up - The reason for the planet splitting. While on his planet her followers are sent to retrieve his heart. Problem is she couldn't break through his heart. He comes back to her now fallen planet and retrieve his heart. Moral of the story: She couldn't break his heart" - famous447
